Of course, I don't look like the model either.lol However, this is not necessarily bad, as it is not a bad looking product overall. The quality could be a bit better, yet this is a costume wig, so it is meant to be fun and not cost hundreds of dollars. The highlights are pretty cool and do give it a neat multi-tonal affect, yes they are as bold and dramatic as in the picture. You do need to adjust the wig to your liking, change the hair part and brush it out or curl it for some more added volume. The really good thing is that it is really thick so you can't see your own hair through it, as it is not a skin top wig. You can braid it or give it an updo really easily and not see your own hair through it. It is washable which is a plus. This will fit normal or standard sized heads to larger heads, if you need a petite dress up wig, don't get this or you will be swimming in hair! It is very versatile, and can be used as a great witch wig or something sort of gothy and punk as pictured on the model. I'd recommend it if you are willing to work with it a bit, as you can get some pretty awesome results with it. You might even be able to wear it out to a club at night; this is not a daytime wig, unless you are really brave and/or just need a lot of attention. The shipping was fast, I would order from this company again. Also do read the return policy for such items as wigs on Amazon with the individual seller; most wigs are not returnable products, once they are opened. I'm happy with this one and I also read a few reviews on another website about this product before buying it. I own some other wigs also, which I bought in a store, they were much more expensive, so I'll stick with places like Amazon to buy these kinds of items as needed.
