We thought that it would be thicker material and more plushy. We saw another frog costume when we took her out that was identical to this one, except it was thicker and had a zipper and appeared to be better quality even though the costume was the same.
It is a cute costume for little ones, the feet really make the look. An older child who walks more this would be a downfall, it would be a matter of minutes before the feet are black and ruined by the dirt. But for babies and those trick or treating by wagon the feet are adorable to slip on over the shoes.
The costume itself is very very thin so if you are looking at it like we were and think wow it looks like it would be warm, don't be fooled it isn't as thick and insulated as it looks.
Aside from that the price range on this was about what most kid costumes run, the sizing was perfect for her, and it was rather adorable. I recommend it. It would also work well for a girl who is trying to do the princess and the frog type of costume if they wore a tiara as well.
