(More customer reviews)My 12-year-old son needed this for an oral report on Odin. This was perfect. It comes in about 5, 12", pieces, so he could take it to school in his backpack, assemble it for the report, and then disassemble it for the bus ride home! He took the red ribbon/sash off and drew runes on the spear head with a silver permanent marker, just like Odin had. Now he has it to "play" with. He loves toy weapons, so this is just another addition to his "arsenal." I actually think that this is a well made toy weapon, especially compared to a lot of cheap toy weapons my son has and has had. The fact that the pole is made in about 4 sections that screw together, lends it stability. The plastic spear head is thick, but I think it's hallow. I think it is a fine value for the money - less than $15.00 for a spear this long!?! Wow!
