(More customer reviews)The mask is sturdy plastic with the normal little white elastic band, but it also has fabric attached to tie around your head adding security and a real Ninja look. My son wore the mask for pictures, but not for the neighborhood parade or trick or treating. The actual outfit is well made. The elbow pads are not attached and I had to pin them on to make them stay in place. The shell on the back is held on with velcro strips at the shoulders and the belt is attached to the shell and ties around your waist. Be careful to not let the velcro from the shell attachment catch on the rest of the costume. It will cause "picking" and is noticeable on the front yellow part. My 4 year old wore the 4 - 6 size. He's average size and it fit him perfectly, but if your child wears a size 6 normally, you may want to order the next size up.
