(More customer reviews)I bought this to go with my Santa costume for a Halloween party. It works very nicely, goes around the neck and velcros behind the back to stay in place. If you need to adjust the chest/belly height you can tie a little knot in the neck strap to make it shorter.
The thing is sewn up with the stuffing inside which feels like pieces of styrofoam.
You could probably rig something like this yourself, but in the past I'd done costumes like this by using pillows and other items. The pillows would always slide down and things would fall out, so it was worth it to me to have something I knew would stay on.
It's not the most fantastic thing ever but it does the job it's designed for.
