(More customer reviews)The Elmo costume is very cute and very substantial. My son was very hot in it. I did not care for how the bottom goes over the shoes with a strip of elastic to go in the shoe? It didn't work quite right and my son wasn't walking yet. It was a perfect costume for wearing it for one day. I had hoped to be able to use it later for fun, but it's too heavy and bulky. Maybe he can wear it out in the snow. The price was too high. My son wears 18-24 month clothes and they are long and roomy on him. I ordered this costume in a 2T and it just fit over thin clothes.
