(More customer reviews)I decided to buck the baseball cap trend and went looking for a hat that would say "I have style." My search was exhaustive. The fedora, while classy in its day, now seemed passe'. The beret? No, that may send the wrong message. Ultimately, I chose the Adults' Beer Mug Hat.
The tall, cylindrical shape of the hat appealed to me from a design perspective... reminiscent of a top hat... but without the antiquated brim. Classy, yet something about it says "Hey, I'm approachable. I'm the kind of guy you could have a beer with..."
To my disappointment, I have found that there is an unforeseen downside to sporting such a tall lid. The engineers who designed my vehicle, apparently did not take into account the possibility of tall headware staging a comeback. Insufficient clearance leaves me no choice but to remove the hat while driving. Not ideal, as I like to be looking my best during my commute. Basically, this unfortunate situation limits my wear-time of the hat to those few steps I take to and from my car in my driveway at home and in the parking lot at work in the mornings and evenings. Until this ballcap world we live in makes some accommodations, I can only in good conscience give this lovely hat 3 stars.
