(More customer reviews)I fell in love with this when I saw it online and we purchased this for our son's first Halloween costume. It is absolutely adorable, made of quality materials, and is fairly true to size (our son was wearing 9 months clothes when he wore this and it fit perfectly-I would go with the next size up though if your child is already in (or close to being in) 12 months clothing). Our only disappointment was that this is a very heavy costume and it is lined throughout, so keep that in mind. We live in Florida and this is truly designed for those families who live where it is fairly cold outside in late October. Our son wore this to a local Halloween carnival-during the day-and it was in the lower 70's that day..needless to say, he was really hot and uncomfortable and we ended up having to change him into something cooler shortly after arriving, which was a shame since he looked so cute in this costume and we received a lot of compliments. Thankfully, we did have professional pictures taken of him in this and they came out great, so we have a great picture of him in it.
I do agree that it is unique and in my opinion, it's a lot cuter than other elephant infant costumes I have seen. Overall, a little pricey for something that will only be worn once, but well-made and super cute!
