Plus, a lot of costumes are poorly made. This one is really cute, and durable. The sizing is perfect. I usually wear small, and ordered a small. The bodice part fit perfectly. The only part that doesn't fit is the bust.. because I'm smaller than most other girls. It's a bit loose and "empty", but you can't really tell because of the way the fabric bunches up. The skirt part is already pretty poofy with the white layer underneath, so you don't really need to get a petticoat unless you wanted to make it bigger. The length of the skirt is pretty good, too.. as in it doens't show any bum, but it is still pretty short. I might replace the white string with some kind of ribbon, if it works.
What you can't see in the picture is that it has really cute white bell sleeves with the matching eyelet. So adorable.
The best thing about this costume is that it's very versatile.. Pair the dress with black boots, and a three corner pirate hat and you're a sexy pirate wench. Pair the dress with stockings and put your hair in braided pigtails and a beer mug, you're a beer garden girl.
Get it, you won't regret it.
