I got this for my 3 year old nephew....he just about lost it when he tried it on, it was comfortable, durable, and breathed well. He wouldn't take it off! (We live in Texas and the weather was in the 70s- 80'sand he didnt sweat to death)
The length was perfect for him and it has some room and stretch to it, so don't be afraid to get this for a slightly larger 3 yr old!
The mask part is a little short...maybe. My nephews all have monumental heads....so it might be perfect for kids without egg heads? It slipped sideways a lot and just didn't sit right, which is fine. He's 3 and didn't care, he had his Wolverine costume and knew he looked awesome. The only thing that made me sad was the the lack of Wolverine claws! Although You can buy them separate they just seemed a little pricey and frankly kind of dangerous. MY nephews WOULD poke an eye out, so I made my own!
I took a pair of grey toddler gloves, cut off the fingers made 3 slits in the gloves where the center knuckles are, bought some grey foam sheets @Hobby Lobby) folded the sheets in half and drew a long claw out, cut them out, hot glued the two sides together, cut a long thin rectangular piece of foam set it down under the knuckle slits on the inside of the glove and hot glued the base of the claws to the rectangular piece 3 claws on each side. they looked awesome and lasted all night.
I would buy this costume again, and would suggest it to a friend. But it with confidence!
