When I told them I was going as Elmo, they must have thought I was going to be wearing a red fuzzy snowsuit because when I showed up at the party, I was the center of attention for next five minutes (eons in this group of short attention spaners). I got the sparkly red platform Dorothy maryjanes to go with this. People loved the socks. I am not large in stature so the socks were more like thigh-highs, but I guess it worked. I had trouble keeping the headband on my head. But I have this problem with all headbands.
