(More customer reviews)Two ladies showing up in the same dress, (or same hat), at a wedding or other formal occasion is a social 'faux pas' of the highest order.....so more than one usable, wearable funny hat should be available for plays, surprise parties, Halloween -- or even weddings! This KID'S OR ADULT CRAB HAT fits the bill perfectly for "Funny Hat Number 2". I'm sure there must be others just as good.
For this hat, (to make it look more like a hat and less like a costume), it's sadly the eyes that should, in my opinion, be taken off this hat. That way it will look more like a funny hat and less like a crab. (Unless you really want it to look like a crab, in which case you should let the eyes stay on the hat.)
Princess Beatrice of York has a sister, of course -- Princess Eugenie of York. Princess Eugenie's hat, though not quite as extreme as her sister's, did raise many eyes, (and cameras). And no, the KID'S OR ADULT CRAB HAT does NOT look like the hat Princess Eugenie wore. But -- until a funny hat that DOES look like the one Princess Eugenie wore can be found, THIS hat makes a very nice companion piece to the "POOR WOMAN'S PRINCESS BEATRICE HAT' which I have previously reviewed.
I've always liked silly hats -- and these two are the silliest! : )
