My husband dressed as a tree (we painted branches on a green shirt and put leaves all over him) and he and my son were the hit of our local costume parade! My son is tall but I was worried about sizing so I ordered the toddler size. It fit him very well. Was comfortable and easy to move in. He's 18 months and could run around no problem. Only thing is the headpiece was a little heavy but we pinned it tighter under the chin and then he was perfectly happy. We live in New York - definitely a good cold weather costume.
