It feels very smooth and soft.
Hubby looks so regal when he wears it...I feel it is a unisex garment. He is about 5 8" and it almost reaches his ankles
I wish it had loops for the sash to go through (though am sure Kimonos are not meant to have loops) to hold it in place
Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone that enjoys uniqueness!
