It's made out of hard plastic, but if you were to sit on it, you would probably crush it. There are two small strings that you tie around your waste for the butt to sit properly. I wouldn't say this product is very comfortable. I love the fact that the butt crack is deep. It definitely looks like a female buttocks, but isn't all that small. Worth the purchase.
