(More customer reviews)My ten year old boy needed sandals "with the straps" to complete his ancient Greek costume for the fifth grade play. The teacher provided the toga, the head wreath, so the least I could do was find the sandals. Now he could have worn his adidas sandals that he wears after most basketball games, but I'm one of those moms! Actually, if it hadn't been for amazon, he would have worn them....Wasn't sure I could find a large size sandal for this very tall kid. These sandals were perfect...zipped up the back...looked enough like the pictures he had seen in class of the Greek warriors. The play was a hit, but all I kept hearing was "where did you find those sandals? They're great!"
