This little slip does a perfect job of giving some of the princess costumes (such as Little Adventures Pink Princess Dress or Little Adventures Cinderella Princess Dress Up Costume) the 'pouf' they need to hang right and to provide the 'princessy' look little girls want. Because the skirts on some costumes are very thin, it also adds another layer moms might be seeking to address any see-through issues their daughter's costume(s) might have. The extra layer would also provide a little more warmth for trick or treating in cooler climates.
To clarify - this is a half slip (waist down) - something that isn't made entirely clear in the photo or description. It's decently made and soft - not scratchy. Price seems reasonable (I paid $11). I might have been able to make it for less, but if I factor in my time, this is a bargain.
Slip is 100% polyester; machine wash; line dry.
