(More customer reviews)From the other reviews, I expected a tiny flake of metal no more than an inch and a half long, with a wimpy chain. What I got was so much better than that! Although, it's true, the chain is a little long (26 inches), the pendant itself is very weighty and substantial. It's actually die cast metal, with a perfectly antiqued finish. Obviously, don't expect a really heavy chunk of metal, although it is 2.5 inches in length and 1.5 inches in width, the back behind the oval design is hollowed out to decrease it's weight. However, it is still pretty heavy. I was also expecting something cheaper and less detailed than the pictures presented, but actually, it's better. As soon as I figure out how to shorten the chain, this will be perfect, and worth a lot more than the $4 it took to buy it.
