(More customer reviews)This wig was purchased to finish off my daughter's Halloween costume as Princess Zelda. I received the item within the time period indicated just in time for Halloween. This item was purchased for an 8 year old even though it's made for an adult. I'd say it fits well for a child's head. I guess it depends on how big your child's head is too. I believe the length to be shorter than shown. However it did meet the need of my daughter and she liked it for about 20 minutes and then she complained that it was making her scalp itch. What can I say, she's 8. I don't know if it would have made a difference if she were to have worn a wig cap. I did ordered one from a different company but it didn't arrive until 2 days after Halloween. The color is also true to the photo. I didn't have to detangle it at all. They must put some kind of adhesive or something to keep all the strands together really well. I would definitely recommend this for any costume party and I would order from this company again. I hope this helps.
P.S. - I'm keeping this wig for next year!
