(More customer reviews)This is a decent quality hat relative to most of the Halloween pirate hats I found. Fairly sturdy and will survive several wearings. The wire in the brim edge is also useful for shaping the hat if necessary. Unfortunately, the hat was also HUGE. I'm not a big person (5'2") but since the photo showed a woman wearing it I assumed that the hat would fit a woman. Apparently not one my size. It was so big that when I turned my head, the hat didn't move. I ended up having to borrow another hat from a friend, and gave this one to a large male friend who's about 6'4" who had been unable to find any other hat that would fit him.
Sooo.... good hat, but probably not if you're on the smaller side!
