She is 11 and on the small size (about 50" and 65lb) and it will still fit her next year (we got the Large, age 12-14, but it says it *fits* age 8-10 which is probably true for a larger 8 year old or a regular to large 10). My only complaint is that the white dicky/bib/fake shirt is a bit short so keeping it tucked inside the vest/jacket is a bit tricky -- I guess we could have pinned it but she wore the costume all day so I didn't want to do that in case she needed to take the jacket off. Other than that the costume's good quality (for a costume) and looked really good.
