(More customer reviews)I was looking for a plastic sword to go with a Pirate costume I got for a costume Convention. At this convention REAL swords are allowed but they have to be tied so you cannot draw them. I wanted to be able to have a little fun with mine so I opted for plastic. For the price this is a wonderful sword. At a distance it looks real, they even bothered to shade the paint on the blade to help it look more realistic. As for the vendor: BuyCostumes. I have purchased from them in the past and have always been VERY happy with the care in which they package my orders, the speed in which they arrive, and the wonderful deals I get from them!
