(More customer reviews)Bought this costume for Halloween. I have a 1 year old, whom I dressed as the Cowardly Lion, and I got my husband a Scarecrow costume. Got lots of compliments on how we all looked together.
As for the costume itself, it definitely runs small -- no size 16 woman could fit into this, and a size 14 would be squeezing. I thought it would be loose on me, as I am a 12, but it barely fit in the bust. Maybe this is a size 14-16 for China, where the costume is made. Fabric is cheap cotton, which was to be expected for the price. It is a separate skirt and blouse, but the "apron" is sewn into the blouse, so it looks fine when you tuck the blouse into the skirt. My biggest complaints are: 1) the blouse and skirt both have large slits in the back with no zipper to close them, so you feel a bit exposed. (a full slip helps, but that's not part of the costume). 2) the button was very poorly sewn on, and it popped off before I even wore the costume.
Overall, I'd buy this if I were a US size 10 or a small US size 12. Don't expect quality worksmanship, but it looks good in pictures.
