(More customer reviews)My husband was playing a computer game called "Many Ninjas" in the evenings after dinner while our 4-year-old twin daughters sat in his lap last October, and the result was an infatuation with ninjas while picking out costumes. This product was exactly what we wanted: A very simple black ninja, with just a few nice details to make it look like more than black pajamas. Tieing the strings around the lower legs and arms takes a little extra effort, but it gives the outfit an certain look that makes the costume feel a touch more authentic (although the material is definitely modern and not authentic in the slightest!) - and the same is true of the face mask and belt. Note that the sword is not part of the costume. The material is adequately durable, light-weight, and comfortable. Your kids will have no trouble wearing this over their normal clothes while trick-or-treating, or while playing dress-up afterward. While I don't think the costume would hold up to lots of aggressive play (sliding on the knees would probably put holes in it very quickly), using it for trick-or-treating plus dress-up doesn't show any wear at all.
