(More customer reviews)The color of the tie is a deep burgundy. I don't think it looks purple at all as some people have said for another listing of this product. It is a very deep color so it borders looking almost purple but it's definitely the same color as seen on the Gryffindor ties in the films. Overall the tie is great quality and at a very good price.
