It is constructed at least as well as several $60-80 wigs I've bought in the past. The wig cap lays flat nicely too, so you don't get that "bubble-head" look most costume wigs give.
Color: Looks like the online photo -- a nice fox-red. Surprisingly similar to my natural color, so it's not a "unnatural" red.
Texture: Silky and soft, easy to comb through and doesn't tangle very much (that is crazy good for a costume wig!). Not plastic shiny like most synthetic wigs, but a nice natural hair sheen. Medium thickness so it doesn't look like you're wearing a huge pile of hair.
Cut: The front is fairly heavy and mostly one length (shoulder length) as if you had wavy shoulder length hair and clipped in long extensions just to the back. They layering does not blend well, but I cut 6" from the bottom and it looks 100% better and more well blended (and still very long!). You will probably need to trim the bangs too. The bangs are a little sparse, and the forehead hairline underneath is a little bit frizzy, but combing the bangs with a fine-tooth comb seemed to help disquise this. (And it looks good with the bangs clipped to one side which hides it even better).
Cons: No clips or combs to keep it in place, but those are pretty easy to find and sew/glue on. Or use spirit gum for an even more secure fit!
