(More customer reviews)The head has a tendency to flop over or not stay put, I put fiber fill in the top and back of the head to make it more durable. I did not sew in the fiber fill, I just shoved it in there and it sort of stuck to the felt material in the head. Also my head was poorly sewn, I fixed that (I think that was unique to this costume and not to all costumes, just a missed stitch at the bottom of the head.)
This costume gets tons of laughs, everyone thinks it's a riot. I wore it out to a costume event in our community and everyone was stopping to get their picutre taken with Gingy. I also wore it out to a bar for dancing and costume contest, took second, but I did get my photo in everyone's group shots which was really fun.
The back only has one tie up at top. The legs are enclosed, the arms are enclosed, the head is enclosed. There is a about a two foot gap in the back with the tie at the top of the back. I'm 5'9" the legs were a wee bit short. The way this beaut is made it could fit anyone from a size 2 to a size 24 fairly well and everyone in between.
It is a great costume, it's more practical than a lot of them out there and it's a riot. The material is not really thick but I was pretty warm in it. It feels like felt thickness. There are two parts to this costume, the head and the body suit. It's fairly durable and you can dance and fool about in it. The round gingerbread hands are covered by a flap on the back of them, so you can pop your hands out if you need to. Your face sits right in the center of the smile.
Definately able to wear it again. Three friends have borrowed this costume so we've had a 5'5" size 10 in it- a little long, a 5'7" size 24 fit just right size and length, and a male 6'0" size 32/33 pants fit fine, short in the legs oh and me 5'9" short in the legs.
