Though the fabric appears lightweight & flimsy, it held up really well & there was little need to do anything to the costume, save for the added trim pieces like stockings, shoes, wig, & makeup. What's great is that this costume could also double for a Thanksgiving pageant at school. I'd just need to find the appropriate hat. I did buy the wig & I have to say it was far better quality than the Morticia wig I purchased for my eldest's costume. It, too, could double for the Thanksgiving pageant should my daughter play an Indian maiden.
Overall, it was worth the money as my daughter got great compliments & bagged 6lbs of candy with it!

Here's Wednesday the original gothic girl. This costume features the black Puritan outfit with whitecollar and cuffs. The costume also includes belt. A great Halloween costume!
